It was 2 days after Christmas and Santa's work was done, He was happy it was overand was looking for some fun.

Santa's looking forward to some time where he could care, About his looks from head to toe especially his hair.


He worked so hard and didn't have time to look his very best. His beard was long and messy and looked like a bird's nest.

Santa thought that he could use a modern new hair style. The last time that he had this done had been a long, long while.


So he went in to the city to his favorite haircut place,And parked his car where it said "SANTA" In his special parking space.

Sometimes Santa's hair was cut by a young lady named Mary.But today the one to cut his hairwas his good old friend named Larry.

Now Larry always did good work when cutting Santa's hair, And Santa was excited as he sat down in the chair.


But this time Larry smiled and told Santa of his plan.To give him a new hair-do and make him look like a new man.

Just let me tell you Santa Larry talking to Santaways to make you look your best. Just relax and close your eyes, I'll take care of the rest.


Larry was excited to change old Santa's look. And his eyes they really bugged out and his hands and body shook.

Santa wasn't sure about what Larry had in mind.He did not want to hurt him and he wanted to be kind.
So he asked him very nicely and was careful as he said, "Could you please tell me Larry what your plans are for my head?”

I have many good ideas Larry said with a big grin.I can make you look like a new man from your head down to your chin.


I can shave your beard completely off and you would look just great. Your face will be much cooler and it won't be a mistake.


Or I have an idea and I know it will not fail. with a pony tail. We can comb it back and pull it tight in to a pony tail.
.Or how about a crew cut that would look so nice and clean. And it's easy to take care of if you know just what I mean.

Your hair has been white for a really long time. We could color it red, it would look just like mine.

Santa thought and thought about.the things that Larry said But was afraid to change a single hair upon his head.

Everyone knows just how I look and if I were to change.It would not be the same and I'm afraid I would look strange.

Then Santa leaned back in the chair and slowly closed his eyes. He knew that when he opened them there'd be a big surprise.

First Larry washed old Santa's hair and dried it off real good. And then he started snipping every place he knew he should.

Up and down and left and right old Larry snipped away. And Santa really did not know he'd like his hair this way.

Then Santa opened up his eyes and looked in to the mirror. Maybe no one would know him now, that was his biggest fear.

But Larry said I think your're right about the way you look. To wash and comb and trim your hair with a look on his face like "what a handsome guy" was really all it took.

 So Santa went home happy and he really did feel good. To show his wife that he still looked the way that Santa should.
